The Tour de Scottsdale features corral staging to facilitate a safe and efficient experience for all participants at all levels of experience. Corrals 1, 2, & 3 are seeded placement for the 30- and 70-mile rides. Past Tour de Scottsdale results and results from Athlinks.com will be used to provide qualifying times. Please make sure you visit Athlinks to check your results and verify that details are up to date by Oct. 1, 2018 for accurate corral assignment. Placement into Corral 1, 2, & 3 is not guaranteed.
Corrals 4 – 10 are open corrals and placement will occur based on expected net pace per mile provided at the time of registration.
This year’s event will have mixed corrals for the 70-mile and 30-mile rides. Riders will be placed with same pace riders, no matter what distance you are participating in, with faster paced riders up front and starting first. Please be sure to study course maps, and exercise rider responsibility by knowing your turns. Lastly, please pay attention to course directional signage, as well as your course marshals.
Start time for the Tour de Scottsdale is 6:30 am for both the 70-mile and 30-mile ride.
Seeded corrals are offered to ensure a positive experience and provide all participants the same opportunity for a safe, quick and smooth start and sufficient room along the course. Space in the corrals is limited and offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Placement into the corrals is not guaranteed.
